Independent Air Treatment Technology Ltd or also known as IATT, is a specialist engineering business providing the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of compressed air treatment, gas generation and industrial cooling systems throughout the UK. Its expertise includes compressed air filtration, refrigeration and desiccant dryers, industrial water chillers, and onsite nitrogen and oxygen generation systems, supporting customers across manufacturing and other industrial environments.
With an experienced engineering and support team, IATT has built a reputation for technical expertise, responsive service and long-standing customer relationships. Its independent approach allows the business to identify equipment and engineering solutions suited to customers’ operational requirements, supported by ongoing servicing, maintenance and technical support.
Why we acquired IATT
IATT stood out as an established specialist engineering business operating in markets where dependable infrastructure and technical support are essential. At its core was a highly capable engineering and management team, successfully overseeing day-to-day operations and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Since joining Wolfgang Capital, IATT has continued to build on its established reputation as a regional market leader in the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of compressed air treatment, gas generation and industrial cooling systems. Through strategic investment, expanded technical capabilities and complementary acquisitions, we have strengthened its market position, broadened its product and service offering, and extended its reach across the UK.

Strategic Acquisition of Control Tech
In November 2024, we expanded IATT's capabilities through the strategic acquisition of Control Tech, an established specialist parts supplier bringing over 34 years of industry experience, technical knowledge and long-standing supplier and customer relationships.
The acquisition brought complementary capabilities into the business, broadening our product offering, strengthening our supply chain and creating opportunities to serve a wider customer base. By combining Control Tech's established parts distribution expertise with IATT's engineering and service capabilities, we have created a stronger, more comprehensive offering for customers across the UK.
